The inspiration for this beautiful leather-like Bible comes from the beautiful city of Aurora, Colorado, nicknamed “The Gateway to the Rockies.” Aurora is surrounded by large meadows filled with gorgeous flowers with the Rocky Mountains looming large in the background. The front cover of our very first leather-like ESV Study Bible features pressed floral artwork, and the back cover displays Joshua 1:8, which says, “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night.”
